Help with oven fried fish...
I have a recipe for oven fried fish that I want to make, but I found it online and there's no instructions... just the ingredients. Are there any chefs out there that might have an idea on how I'm supposed to go about cooking this? Here's the recipe...
⅔ c. flour 2⅓ c. coarsely crushed saltine crackers 1 c. buttermilk 3 extra large eggs ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp pepper Haddock Fillet Bake at 350 for approx 30-40 minutes (depending on size of fish) I know it says to bake it... but how? Put oil in the baking pan? Use something like PAM? I'm lost ... but I have to make this fish! It's supposed to be a copycat recipe for some fish from a restraunt that I LOVE.

Have you ever made something like this, or is this just a guess? I'm not sure what to do here... and I want to make it soon. Trying to make a shopping list for tomorrow.

Haha, alright. Well thanks for your help! I hope this comes out alright... I guess I'll just have to resort to good ol' trial and error.

I would just wrap it in aluminum foil and cook it like that

I make oven fried chicken all the time and it's DELISH. I've baked fish before too and all I do is put pam on foil, put the fish in it (individually for each piece) and mold the foil up so it has a hole in it so it doesn't get overly fishy tasting. i think it took me like 20 minutes at 350 but i was using thin tilipia
i guess you could coat the fish in olive oil too but i try to make it low fat so i use pam.
