I need help with side items. - Main Dishes

We are having beef roast tonight along with cornbread. What side item do you have with beef roast?

steamed veggies. We like broccoli, carrot, and cauliflower... there is a frozen bag of the three at our grocery store.

S threw the roast in the crock-pot...Is green bean cassarole and corn cassorole ok?

Throw in a chopped onion, few heads of minced garlic, some baby carrots and some small red or fingerling potatoes with it and let them all roast together. Then you can make a gravy with the drippings once you skim off the fat. Quick, easy and one pot.
