Easy kid friendly dinners
Since it's just me and the kiddo, I get tired of making grilled cheese for dinners..
give me some ideas that are cheap and easy to make. I'm heading to the store tomorrow, so anything you can throw out there would be great. I do like crock pot ideas too since it's super easy. |

When Dh is away we do a lot of:
Roasted chicken The leftovers become Chicken noodle soup (which you can do in the crock pot) Loaded Baked Potatoes (Those can go in the crock pot as well, my kids like to load thier own) Tacos (again the kids can make them how they like them) Homemade mac and Cheese (the recipie I use you can put together the night before and throw in for 45 minutes or so when youa re ready to bake) Spaghetti and garlic bread Pork chops and Rice chicken and stovetop (chicken breast on the bottom, toped with cream of celery soup and milk then topped with stovetop that has been mositened with water baked @ 350 for 45 min-1 hour) with a side salad pork tenderloin and rice pilaf (bake in the oven at the same time, diffrent pans) |

I'll be in the same boat soon once DF leaves, it'll be just me and the kiddos. Im glad you asked that question.
So far Id say pasta dishes, mac n cheese, spaghetti, baked ziti. Maybe cook a ham and use part for sandwiches, and mix in a few other dishes. |
