What would you do if you caught your SO in a lie, and found out they've been hiding things from you?

Depends on what he is lieing about or hiding from me. I would be pretty pissed but the results depends on what he was lieing about. Plus I hate when people lie, no matter how big or small the lie is, he would be in BIG trouble.

The consequences would depend on what he has been lying about and what he's been keeping from you.

If he slept w/ someone else....woooo doggies!!! That's all I can say!

If it isn't that, but still something that hurt you (and lying does do that), he loses my trust for a bit until he shows he can be trusted and if he keeps it up, I'd leave him. He'd either have to get his act together than while I was gone if he truly loved me or we'd be done. There is no possible way I can have a good relationship w/ someone if their constantly lying to me so there would be no reason to stay together. I'd be miserable, thus he'd be miserable.

i agree with shaky too. it all depends on what he was lieing about. some lies are easier to forgive than others. so it really all depends.

the question you have to ask yourself is this... what is a relationship without trust and the ability to tell each other everything? the very foundations for every good relationship should be trust and respect... (among other things) in lying to you, he showed you that you cannot trust him and that he didn't respect you enough to tell you something...

i'm not sure what i would do, but i'd seriously question my relationship.
