DH & I typically don't. He has been away for more than he has been here to celebrate.

Our 1st anniversary that he was actually home for was our 6th. We did that one big & renewed our vows/got married in the church then. He was home for that one & then 7th. He wasn't home again for one until our 12th & 14th, if I remember correctly. He was gone last year for our 15th & will be away this year for our 16th as well.

we don't do anything big for our dating anniversary but we do acknowledge it.

We've only had one wedding anniversary so far but we went out to a Brazillian steakhouse and got each other small gifts.

In the three years we have been married, we have been fortunate enough to spend our annies together. The last three years we went out to dinner. Nothing to big at all. DH and I exchange small presents. I think last year "I" (he paid and picked them out) neoprene seat covers for his truck :eyeroll So nothing big, like I said. This year we are spending it apart since he is deployed. Not gonna lie, I'm a little sad thinking about him not being around on that day. Though we might not do anything big, it is an important day to each of us, and we like to spend it together.

With exDB, he was in Japan for both our anniversaries. We acknowledged them and would have probably done dinner or something small if we were together. I like the idea of doing something nice for a dating or wedding anniversary.

We do/will. We did something to mark our one year dating anniversary, and we will do something to acknowledge our wedding anniversary too. Probably not both now because that gets confusing, but we'll go out to dinner/exchange cards. DH is sentimental

We acknowledge our wedding anniversary. We did a little trip to Nashville and small presents for our first one this past December. We don't recognize our dating or our engagement, we may mention it in passing on the day but don't expect each other to do anything to celebrate it. DH, then DB, was deployed for our one year dating anniversary so we mailed each other small gifts.
