    Curiosity

I'm just curious... I am not trying to judge I am purely curious...

How many people celebrate monthly anniversaries? And how long have you been in your relationship?

I have three roommates and two of them are dating. Tonight the female told me they were going out to celebrate their anniversary and I said "oh awesome" but then after a minute I said "didn't you just celebrate 2 years in October??" and she said "yea we celebrate monthly."

I think it is cool but I don't even celebrate every month with DB and we're under a year. Maybe that's because we haven't seen each other when those monthiversaries have happened but even still I don't think we would go out and celebrate. I always say "oh hey babe we've been together __ months" or something along those lines and secretly inside I am saying "YAAAY!" haha but to go out to celebrate IDK lol

AAAAnyway my point is to see how many people celebrate monthiversaries even after the 1 year mark? Anyone?

Nope. Not for us. We celebrate our wedding anniversary and that's about it.

We never celebrate/d monthaversaries. And our extent of celebrating yearly anniversaries are acknowledging them. Happy 5 years that we've been together. Happy 3 years of marriage. That's it. No gifts. Just acknowledging that we've been together this long.

I've never and can't really see myself ever doing it. I guess I can see why people would do it. It could be a nice way to stay connected, not get caught up in life, etc.

Nope. And now that we're married we don't celebrate our dating anniversary, we might be like "it's our anniversary" but that's it
