Jump for Joy I am freaking out!

He is on his way here. For those of you who haven't been following my threads, a friend of mine set me up with this aaaamaaaazing guy, we have been on one date (hiking) and we completely hit it off. He has since sent me flowers, and he is coming up to see me today. He just texted me that he's off work and going to leave in a bit. My heart is beating out of my chest I am so excited

Now....he lives an hour and a half away...and I will feel bad making him drive back all the way tonight, but I don't want to seem like I am giving him the wrong idea by offering him to let him stay at my place. I don't want to come across as doing this all the time (letting guys I just met stay here). How do I approach that? I want him to stay Not to have sex or anything, I just...want him to stay. (FOREVER!!!!! but seriously....) I am completely smitten and crushing HARD on this guy and I don't want him to think that it's an open invite to have sex (although...I mean...I want him BAD... but I'd rather wait a little bit for that).

Gosh, I haven't been this nervous/excited in a long time!!!

You could be like "I know it's a long drive home, if you're tired or not comfortable driving, I'm happy to set you up on the couch" or something like that.

That's how DF and I are, he comes up to see me every Friday and leaves every Sunday. I didn't let him stay for the first...Month? So I guess like 5 or 6 dates. But after that he was allowed to stay in the living room for about another month. Now he stays with me, but we still haven't

It's whatever you're comfortable with, but I always say waiting a little bit never hurt a girl

So exciting! I would just be honest with him. Tell him you don't want to give him the wrong idea, but you know it's a long ride home so he is definitely more than welcome to crash. Have fun!

I think it's okay to send him home. Make him work for you. DH lived about 45 min from me and I made him leave.

It's up to you either way, of course, but you can always send him home or let him sleep on the couch. But I'd let him know in advance if he has to drive home, so he's not leaving at 2 in the morning.

I remember how exciting it was the first few weeks of dating someone (especially DH). Have fun and good luck!
