    :sweetheart Truly happy

Since the day DB told me he was joining I knew I was going to wholeheartedly support him, we were doing this together. I didn't, and still don't, want to be with anyone other than him. Lucky for me the feeling was mutual. I had a lot of love for him before, but sooo much more now. While he was away at boot camp my love for him grew. He's an absolutely amazing, stand up guy. He makes me feel like the luckiest woman on earth all while he's just being himself. He respects and trusts me, as I do for him. We share a lot of the same values and views on life. He's truly my best friend, he knows me better than anyone else. We've had our ups and downs over the past two years but it brought us to this point right now. We're stronger and more confident in our relationship, then ever before. We've got our eyes set on a future together so that's what I am focusing on. We've talked about marriage, we'll cross that bridge when/if we get there. He's 1000 miles away right now in A-school to be an MM, and he continues makes me smile every day. Texting, skype and phone calls are helping quite a bit, but I understand it's going to change dramatically once he's out on a ship. Speaking of which, that could either be in June or months after. I'm prepared for that, it doesn't matter where he is.. he's mine and I'm his. We're doing things to better our lives so we can have a happy life together. I am so proud of him, proud to be the woman he's in love with. I am very thankful he's my sailor, my lover, my hero.

you'll find that the more dramatic posts tend to get more responses :/ people like to give advice, comment on tragedies/bad fortune, but not much attention is paid to lovey dovey posts, unless of course you had trouble in your marriage in the past and now you're doing great or you're pregnant/gave birth.

It's great that you're so happy.

Happy stories are wonderful. They remind me of all the reasons I fell in love with DH. I think dramatic posts get more comments because everyone wants to try and help. Posts like yours make people smile and be happy. Thanks for sharing it.
