advice...

Well i just got engaged recently...and i love dustin so much. But lately he just cant stay out of trouble for anything. He is in a school right now and he got real drunk monday night and he goes in front of the cheifs monday about it and then yesterday morning he broke his foot. And he just doesnt think before he does things like consequnces. And it really gets to me. And i know i am not perfect but somethings you just should know are wrong. And dustin just doesnt think. And it is really starting to get to me. And i hate to say this but he needs to grow up and become responsable. He is freakin 21 years old and asks like a god damn 16 year old. And i always tell him dont do that and he doesnt it and gets introuble for it...thats actually him acting like a damn 2 year old. I just dont know what to do right now...because if he wants to get married and start a family he needs to start showing he can handel it. ANd make the right choices. I dont know where i really went with this...but i am going to go relax because my mind is going crazy. ahhhhhhhhhh

Well, the good news is that he is only getting a "talking to" by the Chiefs and not going to Mast. I can speak from experience when I say that they will scare the crap out of him and "gently" guide him to how things should be. Another thing I can say from experience is that sometimes guys are just dumb. My DH is 23 and a father to 2 and sometimes I still look at him and wonder if God gave him half a brain or if he forgot. Hope things work out well.

You should just say.. "if you dont grow up.. then i cant be with you" it should make him think...

You need to stop and look at things, if hes acting this way when hes only in "A" school, what he going to do when he gets on a ship and gets to a port...and yes hes very lucky its only the chiefs talking to him...once you get married if he ends up at mast, i'm sure you would kill him...he needs to stop and think about what would happen to his family if he lost 1/2 months pay for a couple of months and maybe extra duty and can't leave the ship for 45 days. and even posible reduction in rate...I would think twice about marrying him if he doesn't change his ways because in the long run it would effect you too.

LOL Breezy that's funny!! I agree though... you need to either put your foot down with him or he's just going to keep doing it... he is lucky he's just getting a "talking to" and not in serious trouble. Hopefully he'll wise up!
