    Steam boat ride date today!

K is leaving work early (got there at 8:00 and we're leaving the house at 10:30 ) and we're going out to Tonto National Forest to take a steam boat ride!

I think it looks beautiful. I'm charging my camera now. No photo guarantees, as my camera cord has been lost for months, but I'll try to snag some shots with my phone that I can upload.

And thanks for the idea, actually. I'm going to AZ at the end of the month and my family was looking for some kind of day trip activity to do, maybe we can do this!

It was gorgeous!! I'm so glad we went, even though it meant missing one of my afternoon classes.

We were one of the youngest couples on the boat (probably the youngest. There were some families and a LOT of older sight-seeing groups). I charged my camera all night, but then forgot it at the house. K brought his little one. It worked fine last night, but decided not to work when we got there, so I snagged a few photos on my phone, but that's all we got.

We had lunch at the little lakeside cafe they had there, out on the terrace. It was wonderful!
