DF proposed when he decided to surprise me in Dec lol
He was here for 2 weeks and was taunting me the whole time, telling me he had a surprise for me but i had to wait, im a wee bit impatient so he thought it was funny. Lol anyways on the 31st he came to pick me up so we can spend the last night before he left together, well we were sitting on my porch talking when he kissed me, took my hand and said "Jordan, you have no idea how much i love you and I wanted to know when i get back if you will marry me?" i started to cry and i said yes
my mom was telling him why didnt he wait for her to be there! (lol my mom can be a bit weird sometimes)

I was visiting him in San Diego in 07. He flew me down to go to the ball with him. Every time we went to a mall he like threw me into a jewelry store. It was really embarrassing actually.

So then one night he was like I want to show this really neat place and watch the sunset together. So we hopped in his civic and away we went to Point Loma. It started to rain and he got all mad and was like this ruining all my plans. I asked what and he was like noting. He stopped at Arby's and we got our food and went to watch the sunset on the sub base. So we went down by the ocean and just stood and watched a ship come into port. It was so neat to see. As I was watching the ship he bent down to "tie" his shoe and then he turned me towards him and opened the ring box and asked me to marry him. I was so shocked even though we had talked about getting married, I didn't know he had bought my ring or anything. After I gave him a big ol kiss and the water just started coming up so we had to get back on the rocks so we didn't get wet. It was really sweet and now we live not too far from there and I want to go back soon.

He just stood there all "shoot, I have to move" like and then I told him I was serious. So he went and got the ring, came back into the living room (my mom says awkwardly "I'm going to give you guys some privacy...") and got on one knee and proposed. I obviously said yes. I made him redo it for a picture, but the camera didn't have the memory card in it so i didn't even get a redo picture

It was the last day of his R&R and we were at the airport and of course I was crying like crazy well as he went to board I yelled "Jon wait" he looked at me, I got down on one knee crying and asked him to marry me. Everyone around us started clapping, I was **** scared he'd say no, luckily enough he never .

This one really got the tears rolling.. Its so exciting/scary that you almost missed your chance. Such a cute story!
