    Military Wedding ?

    Advertisements
Okay, so from what I keep reading.. in a military wedding, the bride (civilian) is supposed to be on the right of the groom.. but all of the pics I keep seeing online have the bride on the traditional left. I'm curious to see what you gals know about this. Is the bride only supposed to stand on the right if the groom carries a sword on the left? Or is this always the case? Or does this even matter at all??

in church he doesn't have to salute. In public you would need to be on the right.
after the ceremony/walk down the aisle is what i mean by in public

I read somewhere that if the groom is in uniform and has a saber (sword) that is when the bride stands on the other side. Otherwise it would be in the way. HTH!
