a 26 hour bus trip just to visit my ex..WELL WORTH IT =) - Love Shack

So as some of you no me and my boyfriend broke up while he was down in Virginia for A-school. We stopped talking for about 3 weeks and then slowly started to talk again.

He is now relocated in St. Ignace, Michigan and i went to visit him on Wednesday. I took a bus ride that took 26 hours just to get to him because flights were $1700 and i dont have that kind of money and neither does he right now. It was awesome to get to see new places though while on the bus.

So I got to spend all day Friday and Saturday with him and we spoke about everything that happened between us in the past three months we were away from each other. He told me about another girl and I told him about the other guy and even though it both made us upset we got it all out in the open. He told me he never stopped loving me and he couldnt lie to himself anymore because he was trying to move on but he cant. He told me we were meant for eachother and he wants to marry me. I COULDNT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HEARING and i started to cry lol...i tried to hold it in but it was really hard to after hearing that.

We also talked about where we are now like what I am to him. I was upset when he said he didnt no but i didnt make a big deal out of it. I didnt really get to say what i wanted to his face because i was so nervous so while I was on the bus I called him and we spoke about it. I said what do you want from me? And he said I want you to no i love you very much and that there is a place for you in my future. Not the response i wanted so i asked what i was to him..like a friend or whatever. he said he wasnt sure and i asked how he can say that after the weekend we just had. well i didnt fight about it because thats the last thing i want to do right now. as the night went on he started to text me saying he missed me and by 10pm that night he asked me to come back and he wants me to live with him. i asked what changed his mind and he said he thought about it and i am just going to end up there anyway why would he wait.

so i am sooooooooooooooo happy i cant even explain how happy i feel. we talk everyday and he tells me he loves me and cant wait until i get there

I never thought that this would happen. i thought this was the real deal this time and we were over for good.

Right now I am trying to find a job over there because i cant go there without having a job. He lives in such a small town and there is hardly anything there. I went to school for Medical Assisting and there is ONE hospital there. I dont have a car and i cant take his everyday because he needs to get to work. I am so confused on what to do and where to start. PLEASEEEEE HELPPPPP. if anyone has any suggestions that could help me out that would be great

awww Im soo happy for you im glad things are working out for you. ive been on a long bus ride 28 hours from ohio to ocala florida its was fun i don't know if i would do it agin.

St ignace is soooooo my back yard. I grew up 45 miles south east of the bridge. It is very small town and very rural there. Not a lot of jobs to be had. Just across the bridge is mackinaw city mi's biggest tourist town. Lots of seasonal jobs open there right now. St ignance does the tourist thing too but not as much as mack city. there is no public transit, so a car is a real must.

I can probably answer more specifics on the area. Pm me if you're interested.

hey. i just happened to click on this. my boyfriend ( i guess i should say ex, right) is in AIT right now in georgia, and broke it off with me 2 weeks ago. im happy to see you guys got back together. i hope the same goes for him and i.
