The First is Always the Hardest

    Advertisements
My soldier went in to ranger school today, definitely not an easy pill to swallow. After him just getting back from deployment to leave again this is pretty difficult. Usually the first couple days are my hardest, especially with getting used to zero contact. But, I just have to keep reminding myself of the positives, mostly that it's stateside. That's a blessing all in itself. It never gets easier, but it's still always worth it.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know this site a little better and getting to know people in a similar situation in one way or another. Where I am currently, I don't really have anyone who knows what it's like. Hopefully this is a way to find some additional support I don't currently have.

Hope everyone is having a good night!

My DB is in pre-ranger right now. This is his third set back due to stupid PT tests. Ugh
