Making The Last Month go by. - Long Distance Love

I am looking for some ideas on how to make time pass.

i have a month until DH comes home, i have about 2 weeks til he comes visit and this week im deep cleaning the whole house, next week devoting my time to school work.

after that i have like 20 somethin days, Any ideas? TIA!

I've been sleeping this deployment away... but I also don't have a baby to take care of

Maybe you could make welcome home cards/signs. You could make a list of things to do/places to visit when he comes home.

I'm not an expert on OPSEC stuff but this seems like a lot of specific dates. Just wanted to point that out just in case.

I went to Michael's and bought some plain ornaments (red, green, white, and gold) and some ornament paint and pens. I'm going to make my own ornaments for our tree and for gifts to family. We're still getting other gifts for family but these ornaments will be our "christmas cards" so to speak that go out to family. They'll say "Merry Christmas from the XXXXX family! 2009" or something like that with a little design. It's going to keep me busy for the next month

I also bought little snowmen figurines to paint for decorations for the house. It's nice because I can sit in the living room or at the kitchen table and paint, and still watch Aubriana playin thel iving room
