I hate goodbyes
I don't know if this counts as a goodbye, but tonight was the last night I got to talk to DB for a month or so. He is going into sopc. Not exactly sure what that is, but they take his phone away. He hasn't been home since the beginning of May and I really miss him. And they most likely aren't going to let him come home for Christmas
 A lot of the guys he went to boot with were able to go home, but he couldn't because he had airborne. I just wish he was able to come home for a few days especially for Christmas! It seems so unfair to me. I guess that is the military for ya though! The distance just really sucks sometimes.

 Goodbyes do suck. When DB left to go back to Afghanistan from leave, I stood in my driveway crying like a little kid, begging him not to go. Even offered to break his leg.  heBut one thing he told me, "goodbyes suck, but coming home to you makes it all worth it." Just keep that in mind. You'll see him again before you know it.

I think so too! I dropped him off at the airport today, he gets in a quiet and rushy mood... missing him already!!
