I'm sorry, My and My DH (DF at the time) went though the same thing. He said he felt empty and it was impacting his work. We talked and worked though it. I hope the best for you, Talk to him and ask him what would help. Make him not feel so empty. If you ever wanna talk Pm me I understand where you are and its a hard place to be in.. Good Luck I hope it all works out

me and DB did the same thing while he was in tech school. in fact he said the same thing exactly. he felt like he was being a bad boyfriend and he didn't feel anything anymore. so he broke up with me. he "dated" another girl for three days...which really means he slept with her.. and then he realized what he had done.. i didn't take him back for a long while. but i understood. he went from boot camp and having no freedom to tech school and being on his own and feeling so free. he didn't know how to react to it. it was a really dark time in our relationship. but we got through it. and now we're super strong and nothing can tear us apart. i hope that everything works out for you and DB. maybe he just needs to figure everything out. hugs!!!
