Goodbye list
My DB is PCSing to Germany in 2 very short weeks. Is there anything that you often mean to do before they leave and you completely forget about until after they are gone? Im freaking out, i feel like there are so many things we have to do, but i cant really think of anything except spend as much time together as possible.
Ive done long distance before, but never like this. Never were the feelings this strong or the distance so far. Any recommendations are welcomed thanks girls! |

My DF is stationed in Germany. We just spent time together.
Only the first day of DF being gone was hard for me. We got into our daily schedule and make the most of it. The hardest part is the time difference. Hang in there. Feel free to PM me if you want.

and laundry... Every time I leave him, on that lloooooooong-ass drive home, I think of a thousand things I wish I had done/said. Just don't stress. Really, just let things happen. Of course, get him ready to go (make sure he has snacks for the plane, etc.), but above all DO NOT stress out! Just chill and enjoy every precious second with him.

i love how everyone said he may get a surprise tonight now. Thanks so much for your support girls! It feels so new to me, i havent done long distance since i was in high school and i felt so young then compared to now. Im trying now to think about it and stress too much. Hes excited to go and im trying to support that excitement as much as possible.

I always leave notes for DB to find through his things. Sometimes he will find them that day and sometimes its weeks later. He loves it.

I was thinking about doing that before his movers come. I want to write a bunch out ahead of time and hide them randomly through his things, so he will find them when he unpacks. Also i was thinking about hiding little cute notes/little gifts in his truck, since i have a spare key i think it would be very easy to do this. |
