this weekend or next weekend?? - Long Distance Love

Should DB come this weekend for my grad school's semi-formal

or

the next weeked for a Halloween party Friday night and then probably going out to a bar on actual Halloween?

He lives 3 hours away so we don't see each other but once or twice a month, back to back weekends is a lot of traveling.

He asked me which one I'd rather him come to, because he doesn't want to dress up for either and doesn't care

I'm leaning towards Halloween because I know a bunch of girls going to fall fling as a group.....but...... I haven't seen him in 2 weeks and I'm antsy. (yes I know I'm being petty- I have gone 5-6 months without seeing him before)

If you have friends to go with you to the formal thing, then I would wait for Halloween as well

Id go with the Halloween party since it's less formal and you'll probably be able to have more fun together at the party. Whats another week?? lol

I'd vote Halloween weekend, but just because it sounds like more fun!

That's a good question though and tough decision to make, but I agree with the other girls and would opt for Halloween!
And no, you're not being petty for wanting to see him after "only" 2 weeks, cause 2 weeks can be super long, too when missing the 1 we love!
For me it just seems a shorter amount of time of not seeing my man's more hard for me to handle instead of a longer, but not sure why that's so?
