LDR & Marriage - Long Distance Love

Alright lets see if I can get this to make sense. Me and DB have been together for a little over two years. We have been in a LDR the whole time. So we have seen each other a total of about 2 months the 2+years we have been together. We were talking about marriage last night and he said that he wanted us to be in a normal relationship before we got married (seeing each other everyday and whatnot). I'm okay with that. So my question is if you are married were you in a LDR your whole dating relationship?

I hope this makes sense.

We were only living together in the same place 5 months before we got married. . .we were together 4 years before getting married.

We're married now and we live apart again.

we were LDR before marriage, and are now LDM (is that even a term? haha) because I can't move my kids (previous marriage) ... he's working on PCS'ing to TX sometime next year after this deployment (fingers crossed).

We were. He was overseas so no way we could get married for a long time (he then took another overseas assignment so we STILL wouldn't be married if we'd waited). Sometimes its just not very possibly. We have lived apart most of our marriage even. We're pathetic. I was finishing school, then I got preggo and was high risk etc etc. But we love each other and make it work.

DF and I were together 2.5 years before he joined the military. We are now 6 months into this LDR and we have 2 more years to go.

we were in a LDR just short of 3 years (and im talking diff countries and time zones)- our LDR ended 2 weeks ago - i now live with my husband!

we were LDR for about 2 months, moved into together and lived with one another from April08-July09 and now he's gone for 5months.

we were together for a month and a half and then an LDR ever since and it's been a year and a half. We are engaged now and plan to be married when he comes home to me.

DH and I met online, he came and visited me just over a year after we met online, then again just over a year after that, then 6 mths after that (just over 3 yrs total there), each time he came it was for like 1 week. He proposed on that final visit, he actually went and got me ring after the 2nd and had been carrying it around for 6 mths. We were married JOP 1 mth after he proposed. I was with him about 1 month after that (I went to Okinawa with him), then went home to plan our ceremony for family and friends, which was 6 mths after the proposal, then he went back to Okinawa the week after the wedding and I joined him with ODS a few weeks later. So in total the first 3 3/4 yrs of our relationship, which incluses the first 6 mths of our marriage we only spent a total of 3 mths together.

ETA: I was in Australia and he was in England when we met online and then PCS'd to Okinawa just before his second visit to see me
