Does anyone dissaprove of your relationship?
My db's parents are amazing about it, but my mom can't stand that he 'could be cheating' as she says. It probably stems from her tinted glasses of her bad relationship history, but it's just so annoying because sometimes it gets the best of me and I have to calm down
 She's always pointing out "prospects" to me, hoping I'll drop db for someone else. I'm so in love with db, I just get annoyed with my mom's antics and stuff

One of his old friends who is absolutely IN LOVE with him.
He's changed his number twice and she keeps getting it from his sister.

Everyone seems like they are happy for us but we are both aware that his father is not happy..but we never see him he lives across the country so it doesn't really affect us. he doesn't like me because of my family is Catholic and he is gay so he thinks everyone in my family hates him which is not true but he refuses to believe us. whatev

DH's family had some reservations about me because i wasn't from a military background and they thought it would be too difficult for me to handle, but now they're good to go.
His maternal grandmother, on the otherhand, cannot stand me. Lucky for us, the feeling is mutual.

No. This is actually the first relationship that I've had where both mine and his parents approve.
I'm sorry that you're mom is like that sometimes. She is probably trying to be cautious for you because of her relationship history. She probably doesn't mean anything personal by it; just looking out for you since you are her daughter. (I could be wrong; but that's what I think)

My family loves my man like every other family member and for them it doesn't make a difference that he's not the same blood!
For my parents he's the son they never had and they would do everything for him! You can pretty much say veni vidi vici - he came, saw and conquered, cause that's exactly how it happened! Lol. My MIL loves me just as much as my parents/family/relatives love him and his kids who're my step kids do, too which I'm glad, happy and relief about! I'm not so sure about what his siblings problem's, cause they're just plain rude, mean, disrespectful and I'm glad we don't deal with them on a daily bases! They don't/didn't approve me, they didn't approve his ex wife and they really don't approve anything he does so it doesn't matter really what they say/do/think! Regards and much love!
