Deployment or not?? - Long Distance Love

My DB is getting stationed at Germany. He's in the infantry. Is he still getting deployed to another country even though he's in Germany?

It's possible. My DF is also in the infantry and Aug '10 he is being deployed to Afgan.

What squad and cavalry does he belong to? Where was he stationed at?

Its best not to give out that kind of information online. I suggest you check into OPSEC and PERSEC (you can just google).

And yes, even if they are stationed overseas, they can still get deployed while there if the military needs them.

Oh thanks about that.. I'll look into it. THis is kinda new for me. Not really used to this, so I'm really trying to find a way so we could communicate.

Yup, that's just your permanent duty station. DB has a bunch of friends from OSUT that are stationed in Germany and deploying in a couple of months. They're even deploying earlier thatn my DB, whose in Kansas right now.

DF is stationed in Germany, but he will still deploy like everyone else. Being stationed overseas doesnt count unfortunately.
