What do you sleep with/carry around/etc. when he's gone?

Ahh let's run through the list here...


1. The Kashmir scarf he sent me.
2. My baby blanket (Don't be hatin' )
3. Some nights my son which includes these items:
a) on those nights SGT brownie (Build-a-Bear) is in the bed too. He has J's voice recorded telling Christian he loves him.
b) Pre-Recorded videos of Justin reading books to Christian.
4. Some nights Hannah our Doxie.
5. Our quilt from our wedding that all of the wedding party signed and wrote notes to us.
6. I fall asleep watching my digital photo frame flipping through pictures throughout the years.

A bear he gave me when we'd been dating like 2 months and a body pillow because I hate feeling alone in the bed.

I sleep in DH's pj pants and one of his shirts. We decided that he should not wear his wedding ring to BCT, so that is ALWAYS on my left hand with my wedding rings. I sleep on his side of the bed. I spray his body spray on my cloths and his side of the bed. It all helps me to feel closer to him. Also as I fall asleep, I meditate on his face, I think about him and imagine he is laying next to me with his arms around me. This may sound silly, but sometimes it is as if I can really feel him there.

a little bear they were selling at my bank right after he left. they had one for every branch, and the one for the air force was in blues. just a 6" or so tall bean bag bear. i put my SO's cologne on it every night (don't know how the smell wore off so quickly ) but when he got home, he was like, dude, where's all my cologne? i know i haven't used that much

DB and I are in a LDR. He bought me a hoodie when I went to visit him over Labor Day. I am so glad that the weather is cold now, because I wear it almost every day.

I sleep with a bear he got me that he sprayed with his cologne
and I wear his dogtags with a cross on the chain as well...whenever I get worried or scared or just miss him, I hold them tight. I also have shirts of his that I wear or just hold...and his hoodie keeps me nice and warm . i look at his picture 8048309430 times a day!

I recommend going to the store and getting a picture keychain...they are like $1 at walmart in the sporting good section..you can put a picture on both sides and it hangs off my keys. he's with me wherever I go and always in the car with me

none of this compares to his real touch tho!

I sleep on his side of the bed sometimes...I tried spraying his sprays and putting his deodorent on his shirt but its just not the same

almost a year & a half later and it still smells like his room (but not in a bad way )

I sleep with the last shirt he wore before he deployed and a teddy bear that smells like his deoderant/cologne. He recorded his voice in it for me for Valentine's Day (the day before he deployed). ;wub
