He's on his way to the boat. - Long Distance Love

So, I'll explain before I complain. Basically, the boat goes out for 7-14 days. During that time communication is an email a day from him (if he's not totally pooped from working crazy long days), and as many as I feel like sending him (aka: a million

). They'll dock for a few hours to re-fuel, get food, supplies, etc. and go right back out for 7-14. Communication during that kind of docking is pretty much like they never came in because they're all busy running around getting **** together. If weather is bad, they can be docked for 2-5 days. Docked = phone service and normal communication as if he was sitting at home. This cluster ****, random, schedule-less bull **** will be going on for the next 6 months until he can take a vacation (and we go to Bora Bora

). Then it will go on again for another 6 months to a year until he gets promoted and has a more set schedule which, to my understanding, will be 30 days on 30 days off, and by then HOPEFULLY, if all stays well with us, we'll be living together.

With that said, he's on the crew van on his way to the boat rite now and will be on the boat within the next hour or two. We're already long distance, so now it's just going to be emails.

Me no likey this arrangement.

I guess I'm more updating my situation than complaining, but eaaah whatever. So that's my life as of rite now, no hearing his voice and his "I love you"'s for a week or 2. Which is nothing really. I've had to do longer time spans with less communication in the past. I just don't wannaaaaaa.

I'm just whining.

I am so not gonna blame you for whining and I've totally been doing it myself lately (I want DB back!! Rrrrr!). Sorry you're having to switch to just emails. I know when I get used to having better communication options with DB or even seeing him semi-regularly I get really bummed going back to the crappy way

Yeah, when you get used to having them around, they leave and phone calls suck! Then you get used to the phone calls, and then the communication gets ****TIER! Like, Really now? Can I get a friggin' break somewhere here?

Awww, you can vent and whine all you want and need!
Seperation always sucks and just when getting used to being able to talk to them, write them, call them and all that good stuff not being able to've any great communication anymore sucks even more!

You can complain all you want! It's stinks!

I remember deployments and realizing that you take a lot of things for granted. And realize this when it's taken away from you (phone, email -if it goes down- etc etc)
