How long were you together before you got engaged/married??

Not long....I blew Dh off for the first 4 months then we dated 2 months, engaged a month, and got married on a whim. Wasn't the smartest idea we ended up separting for almost 3 years but we are back together and doing better. He just wasn't mature enough to take on the title.

We have known each other for about 5 years, but were only officially dating for like 9 months before getting engaged and were together 11 months when we got married.

We are not typical...we got together when we were 16. We said "I love you" after 3 days...got engaged after 6 months...Didn't get married until April of 08. So we had been together for about 4 years when we got married.

We got married after 8 months of knowing each other.
