DB is at the end of his Airborne training. He goes to SF training this week and he says we cannot communicate for about 40 days. I feel like he has been very distant this weekend and it makes me sad and worried. He just isn't acting the way he usually does. He tells me nothing is wrong, but I feel like there is. We haven't talked at all today and we always talk throughout the day :[ I just get worried so easily now that we are apart. I always think of the worst case scenario. I just get really bothered by the distance at times... I could really use some cheering up right about now
Do any of your SO's ever get this way?

These things make me believe God is a man, after all.

Yes. It is hard. We seem to go through periods where we are distant and then we become closer again. As long as the lines of communication remain open and you still tell one another how much you mean to each other, whether it be I Love You or whatever, I feel like it is totally normal.

Yes, totally normal. Like someone else said, there are waves of being distant and then getting close again. Maybe he is really busy, or tired, or hungry, or just had a bad day.. maybe without realizing it, he's getting prepared to not be able to talk to you for a while..
Don't worry, everything will be okay.

Yup...I think everyone gets this way. Everyone has their ups and their down days. Dont worry too much, you need to find it in your heart to trust him. I too sometimes think of the worse case scenario, but I know my DF pretty well and I know that he wouldnt do anything wrong behind my back. Usually after I talk to him when worse case scenario runs through my head, he confirms it was wrong...he usually did something for work lol. Just try to keep yourself busy, I noticed it really helps. I lost my job 6 months ago, and Im not working so the days seem to drag and I think about DF, but if Im busy time flys by and it doesnt seem so bad. I would be annoyed not talking to DF for 40 days, but Ive done it for like 20 before, so I know you can make it!

Totally normal. I feel like DB gets distant when he's really stressed or when he's going through a new experience. It's just a little bit of fear, anxiety, and excitement all rolled into one. If I'm patient, calm, and supportive... he always comes back around.
It'll be ok. Hope he gets back to normal really soon.
