Care Packages!

What kind of things do you put in your care packages to your guy?

I'm thinking of sending him some homemade cookies, some candy and gum, an itunes card, a nice long letter, and i'm at a loss now. is that enough??

i send snacks, movies, anything funny i find. DF is in tech school so i'm limited.

I send healthy snacks and junk... Nutty Bars are his favorite so I put a box of those in, beef jerky, granola bars, Red licorice, trail mix, cheese It's, cereal bars, pistachios, (Usually a big bag, he loves them). Hickory Farms sausage and Smoked Cheese, and some crackers, sardines, He has only asked for snack foods, the ship store is not big, so they don't have lots of that stuff. I add notes and cards... Those Hallmark musical cards are fun... and I like the ones you can record a message too... I say something silly but obviously sexual. LOL. The PO has the military box and for 11.99 if you can fit it in there, you can ship it. I get those... and just fill them up with boxes of snacks for him. I put in letters from the boys or me... I don't go too overboard, since it could get lost and I'd be out a bunch of money... just snacks and geedunk.

PS... a great way to ship cookies... is to use an empty "Pringles" can and stack them in it. You probably already know that... I was just thinking.... with my keyboard.

i sent lots of pictures to DH while he was gone... he loved them! now they are in his room back on base.

I send him things that he can't get in Germany.. There are a couple of different things that are pretty north west that he can't live with out... like his Johnny's Seasoning Salt.. or stuff from local stores.

And I always include cosmo's "cosmo for your man" section

I always ask him if there's anything he needs..this last CP I sent hom some batteries. ahha. BUt I usually send him food, and certain snacks, I sent a movie with some popcorn, and a booby pillowcase, and some other things.

I have only sent 2 so far but some of the things I've put in them are....
beef jerkey
sunflower seeds
no-bake cookies
different assorted trail mixes from Target
magazines (mens fitness, fishing, maxim)
suckers
crystal light/propel packets
pictures
ravioli
fruit cups
oreos
goldfish crackers
I know there are lots more things but I just cant think right now haha

I haven't sent a box yet... but I am sending an itunes gift card in my next letter! he'll like that one!

Oh, and I just remembered I bought him a DVD case and I'm going to mail him all of his movies, plus a few new ones I think he might like!

I thought my valentine's box would be the last care package for sure but yet, here I sit still. So I'm protesting care package sending for another week or two.
