So a followup from my worried post earlier today, regarding DF not calling for several days despite his promise that he would:

His idiot friend decided it would be fun to move all of his belongings in the gym to another locker when Cody wasn't looking. His phone included. Thank God!

Huge. A few hours before he called my mom started saying, "He had to have been in a car accident." And so that put awful pictures into my head and I was actually crying when he called, but it made it so much better

Is it just me or does anyone else notice how moms always seem to make comments like that at the wrong time?!

Everytime he doesn't call she makes some dumb comment about how something probably happened or how he's probably mad at me. I shouldn't let it get to me anymore, but she plays mind games, I swear.

Sweetheart I think all mothers do. My mom does the same thing. Half the time I just look at her like omfg are you kidding me?!

I'm glad you heard from him! I think I'd ring that friend's neck if I saw him for making me worry. Then I'd feel bad and tell him I'm sorry.
