Do you ever just worry? - Long Distance Love

Being long distance makes me worry more. Not about him cheating on me or anything, but things like car wrecks and that kind of thing.

DF talked to me over the XBOX for 5 minutes Saturday night saying he'd call me when he got back from going out to eat. I haven't heard anything from him on facebook, xbox, or the phone. Sometimes I feel absolutely ridiculous for being such a worry wart, but being 4,200 miles apart makes it difficult

When he was home, I never worried, because he was so good about checking in every night. Now it's up in the air whether or not I hear from him, which is a huge adjustment for me.

*hugs* I'm 12 minutes away & DB is moving away to 1708 miles away in a single digit # of days and I hate calling cause if I hear the automated voice mail of the female lady, I go insane.

oh goodness.absolutely. i worry all the time about every little thing that could even remotely possibly happen. i feel stupid half the time for thinking the things i do

Ugh I know! It's like my brain has nothing better to do than dream up the worst possible scenarios! Not too long ago his friend got jumped by a gang and wound up in the hospital, so now that's been worrying me too.

I do that when I expect to hear from him and don't. It happened a few weeks ago, and I was laying in bed bawling picturing him in an accident, and then he called and had just not been by his phone. I'm ususally ok when I know he might not be able to call, but if i'm expecting something, my mind just creates awful scenarios when he doesn't call!

You are not the only one. We are not even together & I worry. But he knows this so the last few times he was on a plane he called to let me know he landed safely (& the one time we weren't even speaking to each other). I'm a worry wart by nature though. I think its completely normal to worry.

i was worrying the other day. DF wasnt responding to any of my texts all day. turns out his phone was just dead. i found out the next morning

I worry about everything...now with college nearing the last year I worry about that, my career, DB in deployment soon, DB and I and how we are going to make things work when he gets back and if he's staying in or not and how thats all going to work. He would tell you I ask and worry way to much about the "what if" but he love's crazy me anyway
