Anyone else do this?
DB and I have "date nights" even though we are thousands of miles away from each other. Most often we both rent the same movie and play them at the same time, sometimes munch on some popcorn and chat on the phone. We've planned "dinner dates" before but we always end up having other things to do but... The idea is to go to the same resturant and talk while ya eat. *Doesn't have to be the same place but it helps with feelings closer, I think. Pretty much any activity but do it at the same time, and on the phone. It has helped us. It's our "us" time, lol. Anyone else do this? or something like it? (feel free to steal the idea)

Oh we have "dates" all of the time! We do just about everything that can be done on a normal date (besides the obvious, of course). It has definitely helped us keep our sanity! I think I spend more time with him than anyone. Our dates and other times together make it seem like less of a long distance relationship. We have such a strong line of communication that I am very thankful for!

That totally reminds me of when DF and I first started dating. We watched Hocus Pocus over the phone.
 We also did that with a lot of TV shows a couple of years ago.DF and I dont have date nights cause he is in tech school, but we will definitely have to do that when he is done. That's a really good idea!

When DB and I first started dating we were long-distance. We use to watch the same t.v. show, while on the web cam... it was so much fun! My girl friends use to ask me to go out and I'd say "I've a web cam date with DB", they use to make fun of me so much

DB and I would watch Home Improvement in the evenings together before he left for BCT. Now he's in AIT right now we're reading the same book series together.
