i usually do 3-4 veggies and one fruit.
my all time favorite is: kale, romaine, parsley, cucumber, ginger and green apple.
I drink green smoothies all the time. I usually put baby spinach, pineapple, mango and unsweetened green tea in mine. So delish, but it doesn't make me feel any different.
We got a juicer yesterday and tried one out. It wasn't too bad. I had bought a book prior to the juicer because we just need to get more veggies in. Seemed like a good way, and for a healthy snack.
Omg...I so want one! When I'm older, I am totally making my own baby food!
I recently became obsessed with blenders and juicers. My friends have been "juicing" for about a month now. I really want to try it out, I hardly eat breakfast so I need something quick and on-the-go so I can get my metabolism kicking faster!
DH drinks them daily when he isn't deployed. He uses kale, spinich, banana, a type of berry, ice, and a little almond or soy milk.
I had one when he was home on R&R. Not my favorite thing in the world, but it's going to take some time to get accustomed to it.
He learned about them from his cousins who are vegans and they drink them (as well as their 4 kids). They are the healthiest people I know.
