Just HAD to share... this stuff is wonderful, and I love how it smells. It costs next to nothing per load, too!
Homemade Fabric Softener
6 cups vinegar
2 cups water
1 regular sized bottle of cheap hair conditioner in whatever scent you like (without a lot of color or dye, preferably)
I use my old fabric softener bottle, so it hasn't gone to waste.
Pour conditioner into bottle. Pour as much of the vinegar into conditioner bottle as you can (to get all the conditioner out). Empty that into fab soft bottle. Add rest of vinegar and water. Shake well.
You have to give it a couple of shakes before you pour it into washer each time, but it's great!
You can also put some on an old sock and use it in the dryer as a dryer sheet if you prefer that method of softening clothes.
I love this stuff!
Enjoy!
