    Smile homemade fabric softener

    Advertisements
Just HAD to share... this stuff is wonderful, and I love how it smells. It costs next to nothing per load, too!
    Homemade Fabric Softener
    6 cups vinegar
    2 cups water
1 regular sized bottle of cheap hair conditioner in whatever scent you like (without a lot of color or dye, preferably)
I use my old fabric softener bottle, so it hasn't gone to waste.
Pour conditioner into bottle. Pour as much of the vinegar into conditioner bottle as you can (to get all the conditioner out). Empty that into fab soft bottle. Add rest of vinegar and water. Shake well.
You have to give it a couple of shakes before you pour it into washer each time, but it's great!
You can also put some on an old sock and use it in the dryer as a dryer sheet if you prefer that method of softening clothes.
    I love this stuff!
    Enjoy!
I miss him so much... but I love him even more. And that makes all the difference!

I've been using this for about four months, and I have had NO fading or other issues. I worried about the same thing, so I tested it on towels and sheets and socks, etc. first for a few weeks.
The ONLY complaint I have is when I forget to shake it up before I use it. I have a couple of times that I forgot and have smelled the vinegar more than the scent; but the clothes didn't smell like vinegar, believe it or not.
