I use as much green stuff as possible.
I use Burt's Bee's baby products, Green Works cleaning chemicals, Arm and Hammer or Seventh Generation detergent. I made my own puree baby food, or bought organic if I wasn't able to make my own - and to this day, I still make my own table/finger food for Wes from all organic ingredients. I'm making the transition to cloth diapers at the moment - I wanted to wait until he pooped less I'm nervous, but as soon as I have a good stash, I'm diving in head first!I try and do as many green things in our lives as possible - not just for Wesley, but for my husband and I, too. |

If you are going to use disposable wipes, I recommend earths best. seventh gen's are dry.
Olive oil lotion works great! I prefer coconut oil myself but Andrew can't STAND the smell. I should add.. the crap they say about cloth is wrong. It doesn't take a lot of time and it isn't hard at all. Nor does it use ANY chemicals if you buy the right detergent, and it doesn't use much more water than it would to MAKE those 6000 disposable diapers. A lot of energy and water go into making paper and plastic products. I personally have only two extra loads of laundry a week doing cloth. |
