When to plant... - Living Green

I thought we could do a thread on when and how to plant something.

I am probably going to start somethings inside first, like potatoes and my bulbs.

Here is my tip...If you are going to do celery make sure you super water the crap out of it and do it in the ground.

Also for the northwest, do not wait for forever to do your things like tomatos.

Potatoes inside? Never heard of that. I don't see how that would work.

I'm trying to grow culantro (it's a herb from the cilantro family) and last time I tried I wasn't successful but my FIL grew a whole bunch for me and I brought it home, it hasn't been that cold so maybe I can make it work this time.

Um, this is the thread for me, lol. I can never keep planting schedules straight. But I don't usually start mine indoors since my cats eat everything in sight. And I'm in Jersey so it's a different planting zone, I believe.

I was just telling dh how I love indoor real plants but yeah, that's not happening lol

Really? nice! Culantro is a lot stronger than cilantro and we use it a lot on latin food. Some people call it Recao.

I was going to start them inside...Its a process. I didnt say i was just going to leave them inside!
