    Patio gardening..

I'm seriously thinking about doing some this year, even if it's just a 6 pack of tomato plants.. Anyone else gonna plant or do it in the past? I usually plant flowers, but this spring Cam and I are gonna plant stuff that will save us $$ hopefully...

Yes we do it for certain things. Make sure that you get tomato cages! the only thing we do on the patio is celery and hugely viney things like pumpkins.

If you do cucumbers, look for a patio variety! I want to try taters!
Are you scrappy enough for me

I grew up raising almost all the veggies we ate.. we had HUGE gardens every year.. I miss having space to do things.. We almost never bought eggs, or produce at the store when I was a kid.

I'm thinking I might grow peppers and tomatoes. We have no room for anything like squash or corn, and G hates okra unless it's fried

We're doing it too, this year. Since I know we're stuck here for a while longer anyway. May as well save money and have a decent selection of produce. Too bad I don't have servants to do all the planting/watering etc for me. I will kill it all off I think.

I have Cam.. she'll keep it watered because she loves being outside and playing with the hose. She's even got a little pink watering can.

Yep corn has shallow roots for the most part so that would definitely be feasible!

I'm sure it would work, but we just don't have room for a lot.. We use a lot of tomatoes though, so that's mainly what I plan on growing.. I'm looking forward to some batches of fried green tomatoes..
