Thanks for all the help everyone! I am thinking about a tumbler too, seems easier to flip and from what I have read it's important to keep it aerated. We will most definitely put it at the back of the yard, I have heard it's naaaaaaaaaaasty!

Jenny, thanks for that tip, I wouldn't have ever thought of that. I do want to use it for an organic garden, so I need to look into that further!

This is a great thread. I've been thinking of making one in our yard. This place if frozen 8 months of the year though.
