I try to recycle here at home...I think we are supposed to anyway. Sometimes it isn't easy because people still throw trash in with the recylables. I haven't been great at it lately though and need to start doing better.

im getting better at recycling and want to keep getting better. I print on paper thats already been used, I had no idea how big of a different a little change can make.

You know what I can't stand is all of the ads and stuff that come in the mail. I just have no use for them and it's such a waste of paper. I wish there was a list or something I could be on to refuse them

We recycle at work. And I am an environmental geologist (I help clean up other people's messes from gas, diesel, oil, etc)

Yes I recycle, and hubby and I run this www.knots-gl.com

I try to SHOW my kids how to treat people, the earth, etc rather than TELL them...

I believe VERY much in the saying ... make this the world you want starting with yourself.

I volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Orange County. We volunteer our time to establish a relationship with a child who is in social services and has been taken away from their parents. Then we help make decisions for their lives. It is amazing and the kids are in so much need of love and consecutiveness. You get assigned one child to advocate for. You go to court and help make positive decisions so each child has the opportunity to have a real chance at life. I love it!

We recycle and when the kids were in diapers we used cloth. We also use the energy saving light bulbs.
