So, I was at White Castle last night with the guy I still (regrettably) like and another friend, and we all chipped in for some chicken rings and onion rings. There was a boisterous birthday party at a set of tables nearby. He was joking around, and started singing "Put A Ring On It" as he offered me a chicken ring.

I raised my eyebrow, looked him in the eye, and stated, "I know you're not trying to be Beyoncé, boy."

The birthday party of people nearby apparently heard me and they all started laughing. The guy also laughed at me, came around to the other side of the booth and hugged me.

I now know why people always say that truth is far stranger than fiction...

Anyone else ever experience something like this?
