Deployed Daddy Blankets
I can't testify to how well it connects the scent of the daddy to the child, but, you can go to the website and they will send you a free knitted baby blanket. I asked for one last week and recieved DDs blanket today in the mail.
Blankets for Deployed Daddies | Sending hugs and kisses from daddy I just wanted to share, I hope that it will help DD know her daddy when he comes home from next years deployment. I have read and heard that scent is the strongest sense in infants. |

I agree about the scent bit. Especially with mother and child, since that's how an infant associates who mommy is - scent and then voice. And I'm sure it's a lot the same with father and child. Either way, it's a sweet gesture. Daddy's are such a wonderful thing.
