kids and R&R

Have any of you had trouble with your kids after R&R? Their daddy comes home for 2 weeks of R&R soon and I don't know how they're gonna deal with it when he leaves again! Is there something I should do or some way to prepare them? They've been told that he has to leave again, but I just worry about their reaction when daddy, who they haven't for over half a year, comes home and then leaves them again.

I would just sit down and explain to them whats goin on. That he's away at work and coming home for vacation 2 weeks until the job is done.. something like that I dont know how old your kids are but. Thats what I would do..

I have had trouble with my 2 year old since DF left again after his 3 week leave before deployment. He's been in AK since October of last year. He's been acting out and doesn't want to listen to me and when I get him in trouble he yells back at me and says "No my want my daddy" It's been tough and I wish I had some advice to give on how to make it easier for them. How old are they? I'm anxious to see what advice others give you though.

Ok, I just got it. The kids you are the nanny are the ones whose daddy is coming home. Is that right? Sorry I wasn't trying to be blaming or nothing, I was just really confused. I had a blonde moment!
