I wasn't sure whether to put this here or as a vent... but here it goes:
Yds was just telling dh that he's going to miss him alot when he's gone... it was so sweet. He was giving dh a hug, when mds piped up and told him "yeah, that might be the last time you see him." WTF? I sent him to his room and told dh to go talk to him about it, because I wouldn't be responsible for my actions if I were to go in there. ![]() Yds is five and doesn't remember the last time dh deployed (he wasn't even two the last time). I just don't want yds to worry any more about his dad than he has to be.

Joke aside - I hope things smooth out! If you're not in awe of their sweetness you're in distress over their bruteness!Perhaps your oldest is tiffed, actually, because he *does* remember? (how old is he?) - Some people find it easier to be angry than to feel sad or hurt.

Oh that sucks
Sounds like mds is a bit worried about deployment but is expressing it SO the wrong way.
