Sesame Street TLC Deployment Military Tour - Kids Coping with Deployment

I've been hearing about this through the FRG and in the military newspaper. Our local base is expected to be on the tour later this year and I would love to take my daughter. She worships the TLC Elmo deployment video and Sesame in general. Does anyone know anymore about this? Like whether we'd need tickets or how the whole thing works? I know they say it's a 20 minute show with Elmo and Rosita and stuff, but not sure what else. Thanks.

i had heard its an hour and you have to show up at the door, prove your military, and they will let you in.

The show will be here on the base I live on Monday and tuesday. Its free and you just show up. I am taking my son to 1 of the shows so I can provide more info once we see it

Yes it was there today was pretty good from what my friend said. She said it was crowded but still room in the theatre.

They are coming to fort hood next week I believe! I can't wait to go!

They won't be here until October but Liam wants to go. I think he will be disappointed if there is no Oscar, though...he's not a big Elmo fan(and I hate Elmo so I don't let him watch him

Just wanted to let you all know, that due to the popularity of the shows they are now requiring tickets to get in. They will be here at our base on Mayport for 3 shows on the 17th and 18th of Sept, and I just had to go on Thursday the 4th to either the Gym on base or the ITT office to get my tickets and you are limited to 5 tickets per family. The show is still FREE but you need to have a ticket to get in the door.
