I tried this the other day and was not impressed. Here are the benefits listed on the product web site and my experience with each "benefit":


Benefits
- Continuously cleans and freshens with every flush : lasted about 5 flushes before the disc was completely flushed.
- Each disc lasts up to seven days: mine only lasted a couple of hours
- Leaves no residue behind: Did not leave ANYTHING behind
- More hygienic than traditional clip-on bowl cleaners: maybe, but the scent was so strong I could smell it throughout my entire house
- Safe for septic systems: probably safe for septic systems but we don't have one so I can't properly review that

Overall, it is a nice concept but I wasn't that impressed. Of course, there is always the chance that it comes down to user error and I didn't use it properly. I will try it again and see if I have the same results.

I had no problems with it. Mine always lasted at least 4-5 days

The gel stayed around for awhile, but the smell was overpowering and awful. I didn't think it cleaned all that well, either.

mine lasts for like 2 weeks.. and i pee A LOT! and the smell was really strong the first use, i kinda liked it. DB complained cuz he says that it's not suposta smell nice when you go #2, it's suposta stink. haha sorry if that's TMI. but i agree that it does nothing for cleaning. i won't be purchasing them again.

Don't try the Kaboom toilet cleaner...I thought it sucked, which was surprising since their regular cleaner does so well

I didn't care for it at all either. I saw the commercial and thought it was a neat concept. The smell was horrible and it didn't really clean the toilet.

Ours last like 2 weeks. I still clean before I put a new one on though. The smell is strong but overall I like it.

Ours lasted awhile, but I don't think it did much for cleaning either...it just made the toilet smell better.

Ditto, the smell was very overpowering, and it wasn't a pleasant one. It also didn't keep our bowl clean, at all. And we tried it in both bathrooms.
