    Pantry organization

    Advertisements
My pantry is a freakin' disaster, which is sad considering we've lived in this house like 3 months. I really want to organize it, and I'm looking for glass food storage containers (or plastic, I guess as long as they aren't ugly) but I don't want to spend a fortune. I'd also like some baskets to help organize.

Where are good places to look? I looked online at dollar tree and dollar general but they didn't have what I was looking for. The container store had glass containers, but they're rather small, the biggest holds 2 cups. any ideas?

Salvation army, thrift stores, I don't know if places like Pier 1 exist anymore. Craigslist...

If you're lucky enough to have an Ikea near you, go there! They have good organizational and storage containers.

Not exactly the same purpose, but I have Snapware for my leftovers and I loooove it. You can get plastic or Pyrex. Plus, they stack together pretty well and some lids interchange. It's not super cheap but I think the Pyrex options are totally worth the money.

yeah that's not really what I'm looking for at all. I have tupperware for leftovers. I'm more looking to find containers to replace bulky cereal/rice/noodle boxes and the like.

Container store, Target, IKEA, and Bed Bath and Beyond are my go-to stores for stuff like that.

Right? Just come do all this for me thanks.

OP, I second thrift stores. Tupperware sells the containers you're talking about that are of the storage variety. I have some for pasta, flour, cereal etc. it can be pricey if you don't buy them on sale but totally check out thrift stores to see if anyone dropped some off there.
