    What color for bathroom?

    Advertisements
What color would you paint a bathroom with light green counter tops and kind of dark green floors? I can post a picture in a little bit. My parents are trying to get their house in shape to sell and have basically given me free reign to do whatever I want with it to get it looking presentable (seriously this is like my dream ). The only room I can't quite figure out is this bathroom because there is just so much green. If it helps all the fixtures / cabinet hardware are silver. The walls are currently green but everyone agrees it's to much green in there. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

For selling white would be the best color I would think.

Other than that a silver/light grey may look good!

Just based on the description it sounds like bringing some brightness to the room would be really pretty. If white is too much of a contrast maybe an eggshell or ivory color would look good. But I agree with keeping it neutral, it sounds like the green makes a bold statement anyway.

For a sale, I would go with Benjamin Moore Classic Gray.

It's light and a neutral gray and should compliment the greens and silvers well without pulling out too much undertone. Whites can be tricky with green and even if it works well with the green, it can seem stark and unimaginative to some buyers. The gray would give it a "homier" feel without being overpowering. A tan color could backfire and pull to much green from the counters and floors and look a little sickly.
