What would you put in this basket?

Easter is over and I want to get a summer vibe started in my house, and this basket looks great on top of my entertainment center, especially with a vase of flowers next to it. What filler would you put in that would be summery?

Bright colored potpurri? Summery silk flowers/greenery, beachy items like sea shells, or maybe fake fruit?

Oh I love the idea of sea shells! Our guest bath is beach themed, so I could carry it out to the living room! Fake fruit sounds really good too.

That's how I would do it. Get one of those rectangle ones and then stick a billion flowers in it! Kinda like this...

Oh sand dollars, good call! That was the theme of our rehearsal dinner! I might have to make another basket!

ZOMG that looks so pretty. And not too terribly hard I think! My sister got all the crafty genes in our family but I think I could handle that!

I would put a live plant in it. A gerber daisy, if the top of your entertainment center gets decent life would flower and give you color. A golden pothos would be really great and they are super forgiving. Chinese evergreen is an easy to grow indoor plant as well. They would all look pretty with the color of the basket.
