    Tile question

Is there a weight limit to what you can put on a tile floor?

We have a 300lb table and 6 chairs that are 48lbs each, so roughly 600lbs. We want to put tile down but aren't sure if the table is too heavy and will crack the floor.

It probably depends what kind of tile you use. I imagine some materials are more durable than others.

if you go with a porcelain tile it is more durable the ceramic. and as long as the weight is equally distributed you will not have a problem.
we put tile down a couple of years ago we love it.

Thanks! We're hopefully buying a home so the movers will get tipped very well.
