    Hello Moving boxes?

    Advertisements
What do you use and where do you get your boxes for moving? Assuming you've done it yourself at some point. I'm looking for ideas on where to get boxes to use in my move, preferably with lids or that can close... someone suggested produce boxes from the grocery store, liquor stores and Old Navy apparently has good boxes?

    Anybody else have suggestions??

Yup. I have to be out of my current apartment by the 1st and with moving a few hours away, I can't do the whole storing it somewhere and trickling everything into my new place.

I'm no help then. Dh and I are using a carload of storage bins but we take them to the new place and empty them everyday so it's taking us like 2 weeks to move

It's been awhile since we've done a move on our own, but, I think that I remember buying some boxes from the UPS store.

we bought some boxes from home depot and then I would just go around asking liquor stores/grocery stores/walmart if they have any boxes. Walmarts usually get shipments on Tuesdays and Fridays if that helps. You can ask your local stores when they get shipments so that you can show up that day to get any boxes they may get.

Home Depot has very inexpensive boxes as does walmart.
