    Color suggestions

Our basement is partially finished and my FIL is finishing it in the next coming weekends. He is making a room for my daughter, making my sons room a bit bigger and making us a game room for the kids.

I have no idea what color to paint a game room. My kids are 10,9 and 7 so it won't really be a toy room unless we make their lego stuff go down there also. The couch that's going in there is Navy blue.

What are some neutral colors that aren't just white or cream. I like color!!

Like what kind of color are you thinking?

I'm probably a bad one to offer advice, because I looooove neutrals.

DH and I painted his living room/dining room/hallway Gobi Desert by Behr.

I posted this picture in a Christmas decorations thread, but it shows the color --

    I like both of those.
I'm going to grab some paint samples tonight and mess around on the wall before my FIL paints it haha. I think I may need a little bit darker to hide finger prints because they still like to touch the walls all the time.

My bedroom is Willow (by Behr?) and I love it. It's close to this (white chocolate): Nearly Perfect Neutrals (Color Palette Monday #2)..

I'm not sure how much work your wanting to put into it, but you could always do something unique. Maybe pick a couple of colors and do stripes. Or (one of my favorite designs ive seen) since its a kids room, let them decorate. Put some sort of base, weather it be white or another color, then let them "splatter", do handprints or draw in other colors. It would let them get involved and help in "their" room.
