    Laundry Detergent

What kind of laundry detergent do you use? Right now we're using Gain original and my colored stuff just isn't bright anymore.

Anyone know of one that's good for both darks/whites?

I use Kirkland pods from Costco because they are 1/2 the cost of the tide pods it work just as well. I love the smell father tide pods though better. Pods are hands down my favorite.

We mostly use homemade powdered detergent, I have asthma, and some detergents bother me, but not all of them. It was easier to just start making our own, it's so cheap, smells fresh (it's definitely not crazy noticeable scented, but it's fresh and clean smelling) and my colors are bright, and my whites are bright whites! I love it!

I also tend to use a small amount of Clorox 2 for my colors, especially for super dirty clothes! Sometimes we will use tide pods if we're in a a hurry, they don't seem to bother me... We bought them when we stayed in a beach house own vacation for the ease of use, and they seem to work well!

We've been using All Free and Clear for a couple of years now. We use the military version for Aubs' dipes, but it's too expensive for our regular clothes. We're just starting to use Seventh Generation detergent and I LOVE it-- omg, I don't know if I'll ever go back

We use Gain. Used to use Purex but my clothes just didn't smell clean, and Arm & Hammer didn't smell clean or feel clean.

I've used Era for years. I'm finally noticing fade in my clothing that I've owned for 3+ years
